Marco Badalucci comes from a small island called Procida where he was born in 1977. He started his career at the restaurant Il Galeone where he developed that love and passion for this job that has led him to leave the small island and find his way to starred restaurants including Le Calandre in Padua (3 Michelin stars) and Fulvio Pierangelini’s Gambero Rosso (2 Michelin stars), where the chef learned techniques to respect raw materials.
This was the beginning of his desire to become independent and walk in his own very own footsteps, to become the chef of important restaurants in the world. He is praised by Italian and international gastronomic guides. He was awarded, at the “Amarcord“ restaurant in the Dominican Republic, two gold medals by the Accademia Italiana Cuochi as an ambassador of Italian signature cuisine abroad.
After working as Executive Chef at the Hotel Cristallo in Cortina d’Ampezzo, he moved to Lugano where he opened his restaurant Taste of Art that has received numerous awards from the Swiss press and critics.
